Re-implementing WordPress's hooks, themes and query layer in TypeScript is years of compatibility engineering. A CDN config can be copied over a weekend — a runtime cannot.
The architecture[01] — WHAT WE BUILT
Everyone else rents servers.
We compiled WordPress to the edge.
Every premium host runs the same 2003 architecture: PHP on always-on servers in a handful of data centers, hidden behind a cache. We re-implemented the WordPress runtime itself in TypeScript on edge isolates — compute that starts in 0–5 ms, runs in 300+ cities, and bills by the millisecond. The miss path becomes nearly as fast as the hit path, and the cost of serving a site collapses with it.
The Render Ladder: block themes compile to the TypeScript engine (T1), popular plugins run on a hooks-compatible TS runtime (T2), and the long tail falls back to real PHP behind the edge cache (T3). 100% of WordPress works on day one — sites then climb the ladder and get faster.
Isolates, not VM fleets
Incumbents pay for servers that idle between requests — that fleet istheir COGS. Our compute spins up per request in 0–5 ms. Structurally higher gross margin at every price point.
Zero migration cliff
The #1 reason WordPress sites never leave their host is breakage risk. The Render Ladder removes it: everything works on arrival, then speeds up. Onboarding friction is the moat nobody prices in.

WordPress isn't a niche to be disrupted — it's the default publishing layer of the web, the largest e-commerce platform by store count, and a six-hundred-billion-dollar economy. Every one of those sites needs somewhere to run. Nobody has changed what they run on in twenty years.
